Kathy Schmaltz proudly annouces a water system improvement grant worth $2.7 million for Jackson
Rep. Schmaltz says everyone deserves to have safe, clean water
Kathy Schmaltz announced last week that Jackson has been awarded a $2.7 million state grant to improve the city’s water system.
The city of Jackson will receive $2,772,500 from the state’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund. These funds are to be used to help the city replace approximately 6,369 linear feet of water main and associated lead service lines.
“I’m proud that our state is investing in the health and well-being of our community by improving our water system,” Schmaltz said. “This funding will ensure local families have access to reliable and safe water for years to come.”
